Classic Neocolonialism is the stage that is presently unfolding, and even the Rasta priest has to be careful that his integrity is not being compromised in this time.
In this sophisticated form of Colonialism,
The people are enslaved while thinking that they are “free,”
University graduates are schooled to become long-distance agents of foreign masters while thinking that they are "progressing."
Priests are targeted to become puppets and pimps while imagining that everyone will believe that they are quite holy.
Queens are seduced to become prostitutes, not knowing that there are more ways than one.
and Sacred Spaces are studied, penetrated, and infiltrated to become spiritual whore houses.
THAT IS THEIR INTENTION AND THEIR MISSION.
Now Whorism (tourism) has become the only vision, superseding the former vision of African Liberation,
and because of the destitution that follows in the footsteps of colonialism, the colonized native will set his hopes on being DISCOVERED, and being visited, and being toured, and being peeped at, and being adopted, and being funded, and being friended.
The "native" will have these kinds of hopes because bending down, and contorting previous standards of morality in order to cater to the fancies of Caucausoid nations has been presented as the only option.
DRIVEN BY THE FORCE OF THIS COLONIAL PROSTITUTING ECONOMIC TSUNAMI,
the struggle for liberation gradually begins to take a back seat, and those that were supposed to be priestly liberators can find themselves in bitter internecine struggles for the crumbs that drop from the cruise ship.
This is the drama that unfolds in the wake of emancipation without compensation
when the people are stripped of everything, and they are driven to shape and polish their souls for sale on the tourist market .
Be careful Rastaman!
This is the course of events that can also happen to you after the Europeans have "DISCOVERED" you, and anthropologically categorized you as an exotic object of interest.
A CRIME WHOSE ENORMITY
IS WITHOUT PARALLEL IN HUMAN HISTORY
WHERE ARE WE TODAY ON THE MAP OF HUMAN GEOGRAPHY?
What do we tell our children about the cause for the shameful condition of Africans today? How do we explain our present dependency on other races to feed us, clothe us, employ us, and fund us?
How do we continue to say that slavery is past and yet even in the twenty-first century SLAVE-TRAPPERS, CHAINS, AND PRISON CELLS STILL HAUNT THE PATH OF OUR PEOPLE today?
Can we afford to keep on de-emphasizing the telling of the story of our past? or shouldn't we be constantly using it as an educational tool to keep us focused, and to help fortify our integrity today?
see video below and keep the focus in the right place!
